From a young age Alex started to create acts for himself and his friends at circus studios. It was always a game, but in his mind he always dreamt of being a professional director for circuses and TV shows.

In 2008, he graduated from the Circus of the Russian Academy of Theatre Art, (“GITIS”), as Director A. Emelin. During that year Alex presented his first directorial work, (a staging of “Dangerous Mind” – Ruzhilo Pavel), at “Circus of Tomorrow”, the 28 th International Circus Festival in Paris, where the number won a bronze medal. Alex Emelin was also named as the director of all clown acts for “Stars of the Circus”, a competition TV show for famous Russian celebrities. The show was broadcast on First Russian TV Channel during 2007-2008 in the Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard.

Now, Alex is open to helping to create performing acts and circus productions with his new company Emelin Ent.
